Yam Seng 06:23
It's been another long week at the office, A sixty hour week to finish all these Worthless angry moments that all fade Memories forgotten once they're made. I need some way to rid me of my sadness, To rescue me from all this modern madness, So drown your sorrows and let your emails ring, Let's get together, raise your glass and sing. Yam seng. And I just aged another million years, Forgetting all advice from all my sages. Another marriage, another wailing child, And I'm still bitter and still full of bile. I need some way to rid me of my sadness, To rescue me from all this modern madness, Another shitty tinder date no-show, I'll guess I'll have another before I go, so I sing Yam Seng The troubles they can wait The problems go away Monday will come but it doesn't mean you need to wait in dread.

Scars 06:58
Celebrate us, she said, smiling as She held back tears in her eyes, Come a year and maybe wounds will heal, But I'm still scarred inside. Given that choice, never knowing how, You'll always be in my heart. All of my pain, I am better now And I hope you are as well. Chorus: And I will always remember, Singing along in the car, On the way to nowhere, Just for one more day... And I remember all the scars you had, They're mine as well by now. And I know you'll hold your head up high, So I can do the same. My mind still betrays Every line and every shape Scars that never fade, Who our sorrows made.

All the birds fly over your head, all the dreams we’ve left unsaid, The birds in the books you read, are forever too far ahead. You were always telling me when your dreams led to where you can’t bear, “But I am destined to be down here you said, in my nest under God-knows-where.” The world would open as we all grow, Our dreams would bloom like seeds we sow. The sky is not the only world, You found other ways to grow. Your arms would open though you wings did not, You found other ways to fly, “I’ll be alright,” You turned to me to say, “For I will always be, A bird with broken wings.”
